Kerrianne Carrasco is a skilled facilitator and report writer. In her facilitation and reporting work, Kerrianne typically works with multi-stakeholder groups, seeking common ground and consensus among stakeholders with different and often passionately held viewpoints. She has worked with clients on issues ranging from biotechnology to climate change, from species at risk to genetically modified foods, and from immigration to health care. This experience has given Kerrianne a broad understanding of the issues facing her clients which she applies to all her work in practical ways. Kerrianne’s skills have been applied in a range of environments including large and small working groups, national public consultations, multi-stakeholder meetings, strategic planning sessions, training sessions for internet-based tools and large conference events.

Kerrianne has consulted for several years through her company, Carona Designs. Prior to this, she worked with a consulting firm addressing an array of issues related to sustainable development and environmental policy, including developing information systems to support SD-related activities. She also worked for the Victorian Order of Nurses in communications and with Environment Canada’s Biodiversity Convention Office.

In 1993, Kerrianne received an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies (Urban and Regional Planning) from the University of Waterloo. She has completed training in facilitation techniques from the Global Facilitator Service Corps, the Institute of Cultural Affairs, the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution, Leadership Strategies and Lens International. Kerrianne serves as Secretary of the Organizational Development Network of Ottawa-Outaouais Facilitation Community Leadership Team, and Co-chair of its Mentorship Team.
