An experienced manager at the City of Ottawa envisioned a new level of service delivery for his branch, yet was unable to secure the support of his team—many members of which were new to their positions. As an alternative, the manager tried to work around his team, but the initiative ground to a standstill.
Shaping the solution: Modifying behaviour
Through psychometric profiling and performance coaching, Intersol helped the manager present his ideas in a way that engaged the team in his vision. We also led a follow-up teambuilding session to re-establish trust and effective lines of communication.
